Tummy Time!™ Method is an evidenced-based tummy time program that incorporates movement, tummy time, and bonding between the caregiver and the baby. It is designed for pre-crawling infants (typically under 6 months of age). It was developed by Michelle Emmanuel, OTR/L, CIMI, CST, NBCR, RYT 200 who has experience working with infants in the NICU.
Infant Massage Instruction is taught using the The TRIAD Family Model™ which promotes healthy infant, child, and family development while strengthening the family unit and bonding process to endure a lifetime. The model includes multiple components: environment, touch, and communication. Classes are taught by an infant massage instructor and benefits infants of all ages.
"On The Move" Classes are taught by a physical therapist, Mari Therrien, and are for infants >6 months who are starting to move. They are for infants who may be delayed with rolling, crawling and sitting and classes will focus on ways to improve motor skills as well as give practical activities for you to practice at home with your infant to encourage appropriate motor skills.
Transitioning to Solids Classes are taught by a speech-language pathologist or occupational therapist who specializes in working with infants on eating solids. This class covers baby-led-weaning vs. traditional purees and reviews the best method for feeding your baby based on your family's needs.
